Robo-Rookies Lab (March 7)

Robo-Rookies Lab (March 7)

$20.00

This class will be held on Saturday, March 7, from 9:30 - 11:00 AM. It is for 1st-3rd graders; we kindly ask that siblings and non-participating children do not remain in the classroom during class time.

Robo-Rookies Lab is a playful, hands-on introduction to coding designed especially for young learners in 1st–3rd grade. In this one-time exploratory class, students will rotate through three robot stations, giving them the chance to experience multiple ways to “think like a coder” without screens.

At each station, students will program a different robot using screen-free coding methods such as color coding, barcode programming, and coding cards. Along the way, they will practice sequencing, problem-solving, and logical thinking while testing, adjusting, and celebrating their robots’ movements.

This class is all about exploration, curiosity, and confidence. No prior coding or robotics experience is required. Students will leave with a better understanding of how robots follow instructions and a big boost of excitement for future STEM learning.

Perfect for first-time coders who are ready to explore, experiment, and have fun with robots.
