October Stained Glass (10/10)
October Stained Glass (10/10)
This class takes place Saturday, October 10 @ 9:00 AM.
Discover the art of stained glass with a spooky October twist in this hands-on MakerClass at Area 59. In this beginner-friendly workshop, you will create your own Spider Web stained-glass piece, complete with a creepy-cute spider accent that makes it perfect for Halloween decorating.
Participants will be guided step-by-step through the stained-glass process. You will learn how to cut glass, grind edges for a precise fit, apply copper foil, and solder the pieces together to create a finished design. By the end of the class, you will leave with a completed stained-glass spider web ready to display in a window, where the light can bring out the texture and details of the glass.
This class is perfect for beginners or anyone curious about stained glass. No prior experience is required and all materials are provided.
Join us at Area 59 for a seasonal MakerClass and experience the satisfaction of transforming pieces of glass into a one-of-a-kind work of Halloween art.
