Get ready for the most festive maker morning of the season. Our Kids’ Craft Extravaganza invites young creators to rotate through four hands-on holiday stations, each designed to spark imagination, build fine-motor skills, and send them home with beautiful handmade keepsakes.
Students will spend time at each of these creative stations:
1. Christmas Gnome with a Macrame Beard
Kids design a whimsical holiday gnome using simple woodworking shapes, yarn, and macrame techniques. They’ll practice tying basic knots to create a soft, fluffy beard and personalize their gnome with fun colors and details.
2. Stained-Glass-Style Cardboard Ornaments
Using laser-cut cardboard shapes and vivid translucent inserts, kids layer colors to create ornaments that glow like stained glass. These look stunning in a window or on a Christmas tree.
3. Glass Tree on a Wood Slice
Students arrange frosted and colored glass pieces to create a sparkling Christmas tree mounted on a natural wood cookie. With added glass beads for “snow,” each piece becomes a rustic, handcrafted decoration.
4. Paper & Bead 3D Ornaments
Kids fold patterned paper, layer shapes, and add bead accents to create dimensional hanging ornaments perfect for holiday décor or gift-giving.
What to Expect
• Four guided craft stations
• Safe, hands-on creativity
