Cricut Design & Cut: 4-H Fair Project Decals
Cricut Design & Cut: 4-H Fair Project Decals
Get ready to make your 4-H fair projects stand out! In this hands-on MakerClass, participants will learn how to use Cricut Design Space to create personalized vinyl decals for their 4-H fair displays, project boards, and display boxes.
Students will explore the basics of digital design, including adding text, choosing fonts, working with graphics, and sizing designs for cutting. They'll then learn how to operate a Cricut cutting machine, weed away excess vinyl, and prepare their decals for application using transfer tape.
To keep the focus on learning the design and cutting process, all projects will use single-color adhesive vinyl. Participants can create custom names, project titles, 4-H graphics, and other simple designs to personalize their fair presentations.
Students will take home their finished decals, ready to apply to their own displays and projects.
No previous Cricut experience is necessary, but basic computer skills are helpful.
