Build Your Future: Sparks & Skills (Mar. 6)

This seminar is the fourth of our career exploration experiences at Gillette College, designed to give homeschool high school students meaningful exposure to college life, technical education, and real-world career pathways.
This is a drop-off event for your high school student, and parents are not required to stay during the workshop. Stacy Helwig, our CTE Professional Advisor and Retention Specialist, will greet students at the main entrance of the Technical Education Center, located at 3251 W 4-J Rd, Gillette, WY. Parents who wish to remain on site are welcome to wait in the Donkey Creek Café seating area within the Technical Education Center.
In this session students will step into the welding lab to experience welding technologies firsthand. Students will learn about safety, equipment, and certifications while discovering how welding skills are applied across construction, manufacturing, and energy industries.
