This class takes place on Friday, June 5, from 9:30 - 11:00 AM.

Get ready to create something you’ll use all summer long. In this Fun Friday MakerClass, kids will design and personalize their very own water bottle and watch it come to life with laser engraving.

To keep the experience fun and successful for younger makers, students will choose from a collection of pre-designed summer-themed artwork like sunshine, waves, animals, and fun patterns. They’ll then customize their design by adding their name or text in Adobe Illustrator with guidance from our staff.

Once designs are ready, we’ll use our laser to engrave each bottle, revealing a clean, permanent design that won’t peel or fade.

Adult Supervision

Children entering 5th grade and above may attend independently. Younger participants are welcome, but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the duration of the class.

This class is a great introduction to design and real fabrication technology in a way that’s accessible, engaging, and age-appropriate.

Each participant will leave with a custom engraved water bottle they designed themselves.

No experience needed. All materials are provided.
