This class takes place on Saturday, November 22 from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM. It is for kids, first grade and up, and their grown up.

This is shop class so long pants, closed-toe shoes, and safety glasses are required. Hair that is shoulder-length or longer should be tied up/back.

Build memories while building something useful! In this hands-on MakerClass, kids and their grown-ups will work together to create a custom step stool from a pre-routered kit. We’ll start with a demonstration on the router, covering safety, technique, and how this versatile tool helps shape and smooth wood.

Then it’s your turn! You’ll assemble your stool together, learning basic woodworking skills while having fun in the shop. Each pair will leave with a sturdy, finished stool that’s both practical and proudly handmade. We’ll even have paint for you.
