Fun Friday - Build Your Own Tool Box (June 6)
Let’s kick off summer with sawdust and smiles! In this hands-on MakerClass designed for young builders ages 6 and up, kids will craft their very own open-top wooden toolbox in the Area 59 wood shop. It’s the perfect starter project for budding makers!
With the help of our skilled staff, participants will learn how toolboxes are assembled and get to try basic tools like hand drills and screwdrivers. If time allows, we’ll wrap up with some painting or decorating fun!
Safety First:
All participants and parents must wear long pants and closed-toe shoes.
Kids age 7 and under must have an adult on site during the class.
What’s Included:
All wood and hardware to build a toolbox
Guided instruction and tool safety support
Optional decorating materials (time permitting)
A great take-home project they’ll be proud of!
Spots are limited—register early and get ready to build something awesome!
